The SDA Alliance collects and administers a range of personal information for the purposes of information, measurement, collation, reporting, advocating and publishing. The organisation is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information it collects, uses, stores and administers.

  • Considering your suitability of SDA Alliance membership.
  • Compiling information, reporting, opinions and data.
  • Conducting research, including member satisfaction research and market or demographic research in relation to the services we may provide to you, planning, development or risk assessment.
  • Sending you marketing material, promotional messages, fundraising requests and other information.

Wherever possible we will collect personal information directly from you. From time to time, we may ask you to confirm your contact information.

We will only collect and hold personal information for the purpose of providing services to you, managing our business, advocating for you or your clients/stakeholders and as required by law. The following are examples of the types of information we may collect and hold:

  • Contact details including your name, postal/residential address, email and telephone numbers.

  • Other information in relation to SDA Alliance membership, your employer, job title and professional associations.
  • We may collect personal or sensitive/health information in relation to you or your clients/stakeholders, but we will let you know if we do and ensure we get your consent.
