Shadow Effect

Our story begins in 2018 - a time when the SDA market was still emerging.

The SDA Alliance was established by a group of institutional investors and SDA providers across the country. The founding members were driven by a strong commitment to supporting the development of a fair and sustainable SDA market which prioritises the best interests of people with disability.

Since this time, the SDA Alliance has continued to grow nation-wide.

2024 Annual General Meeting

Since our inception, we have worked on a range of policy and advocacy initiatives including:

  • Influencing the NDIS SDA Pricing Review: 2022-2023 – the outcomes of which have set the foundations for a more sustainable and attractive SDA market
  • Influencing the SDA Limited Cost Assumption Review
  • Providing submissions to the NDIS Review, Disability Royal Commission, National Housing and Homelessness Plan, NDIS Provider and Worker Registration Taskforce, National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Getting the NDIS Back on Track No. 1) Bill 2024 among others.

We have served on government working groups where we have provided advice and collaborated with stakeholders across the sector.
